Hi, I’m Holly, and I’m Head of Communications for Science Brainwaves. That means I spend my time trying to get our work seen and heard by the right people at the right time, and getting as much publicity as possible for Science Brainwaves.

During the day, I’m studying for the Masters in Science Communications at The University of Sheffield. I’ve got a big interest in environmental science, especially looking into cleaner, greener energy and exciting new technology.

This is a great time to be involved in the scientific world – research is moving faster than ever before, and I think it’s crucial that the public get to find out about the breakthroughs that are going to really positively affect their everyday lives. Science is for everyone, not just for scientists!
